We are located on the Bigham Knoll Campus on the ground level of Jacksonville’s 1908 School House building. Our facilities cater to little kids, kids at heart and is ADA friendly , with a menu that is certain to please. Our grounds are beautifully maintained and the views are magnificent, making our outdoor dining experience one of the finest in the Rogue Valley.

Our executive chef, Hilary (Frau) Kemmling, grew up locally, and went on to graduate with Honors from the esteemed Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY. 

Our selection of fine German beers rests in the capable hands of Micha Willits, our in house BierMeister. A native of the Motherland, Micha has a heart from the homeland, and the tastes of a sophisticated bier aficionado.

The restaurant location was once the home of the original student cafeteria, and today our décor is a tribute to 100 years of education and also to the German immigrants who settled in Jacksonville.  Historic photographs, textbooks, and scenes of Bavaria grace the walls.
